Overarching Objectives:
1. Give the students exposure to analyzing author/illustrator style.
2. Retell author’s stories through the use of technology.
Objectives:


Students will be able to:
Retell 3 Jan Brett stories using characters, setting, and plot.
Compare and contrast Jan Brett’s stories
Publish writing using Microsoft Word
Write a story using Jan Brett characteristics

Technology Integration:
Videos via a website, and Microsoft Word

Assessment:
Students will be assessed through a graphic organizer in their ability to retell a Jan Brett story. Students will be assessed through a rubric for the Jan Brett writing.
